Get in the Holiday Spirit with the Palatine Jaycees

The Palatine Jaycees are excited to kick off another season of Tree, Wreath, and Garland sales at the Palatine Family Aquatic Center lot. The sale will run from Friday, November 28th through Sunday, December 21st, while supplies last. On opening day, the lot will be open from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. During the rest of the sale, the Tree Lot hours are Fridays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Aquatic Center parking lot is located at 340 E. Palatine Rd., next to Walgreens. 

Santa will make a special appearance on Saturday, December 13th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for holiday photos! Children can also send a letter to Jolly Old Saint Nick using the special mailbox at the Christmas tree lot between Friday, November 28th and Sunday, December 14th. Santa will reply to letters with legible return addresses. 

This year, the Palatine Jaycees are excited to be offering Tabletop trees for the first time for those looking to get in the holiday spirit on a budget, or to add some additional flair beyond just a single tree! Additionally, the lot will continue to feature a variety of fresh cut, long and short-needle trees, wreaths, and garland in various sizes from 5 ft to 12 ft. Shoppers can choose from a selection of Scotch Pine, Blue Spruce, Balsam Fir, Douglas Fir, and Fraser Fir in a variety of sizes at competitive prices. Our festively decorated wreaths are always a customer favorite!

A variety of extra services are provided for our customers, including fresh cuts and baling, to make transporting large trees easier. 

All of the proceeds from the sale go towards supporting the Palatine Jaycees continued involvement in the community.

Founded in 1957, The Palatine Chapter of the Jaycees has over 100 members and is one of the largest chapters in Illinois. The Jaycees provide individuals between the age of 21 and 40 the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills while serving their community and have been recognized state-wide, nationally, and internationally for their efforts.

The Palatine Chapter holds their monthly general meeting on the third Thursday of the month at 7:30 PM in the upstairs room of the Lamplighter Inn in Palatine.
