The Palatine Jaycees, an organization dedicated to providing young adults leadership development and community service opportunities, recently swore in the 2026 Board of Directors. Closing out 2025’s year of “Make It Yours”, led under President Zach Kulig, the 2026 Board was sworn in at their annual Year-End Banquet on January 16th. The new Board of Directors include Megan McGaughey, 2026 President; Casey Siani, Administrative VP; Tim Whisler, Chapter Management VP; Trent Englum, Community Development VP; Ross Smith, Individual Development VP; Kevin Healey, Membership Development VP; Becky Adamson, State Director; Zach Kulig, Chairman of the Board; Courtney Kulig, Treasurer; Erica Anderson, Secretary; and Local Directors: Timmy Jackson, Jenny Levin, and Maren Messenger. This year, President Megan invites the members to “Lead with Curiosity”. A personal challenge to members to be curious about what they are capable of and to be curious about thinking outside the norm, how can the Jaycees do things differently from how they’ve been done in the past.
Palatine Jaycees Board meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month, 7:00 PM, at Emmett's Brewing Company and the General Membership meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, 7:30 PM, at Lamplighter's Inn. All community members between the ages of 21–40 are welcome to join the local Palatine chapter of the Jaycees!
