As small businesses reopen their doors the Palatine Jaycees are looking to make economic recovery a little more fun. From June 29th – July 17th Palatine residents can participate by a free smartphone app, called “Actionbound” and gain points for supporting local business. It costs nothing to play.

Download the free smartphone app and scan the QR code posted on the Jaycee website and all participating businesses to get started. Each participant earns points by completing the various tasks listed. Points can be earned by visiting, learning about, and completing tasks at participating businesses. Shoppers are encouraged to support businesses you might already visit and discover some businesses run by your neighbors that you may not yet know about.

At the end of the hunt the top three finishers will receive prize packages consisting of gift cards to local shops and restaurants as well as a selection of prizes donated by the following businesses: My Flavor It Place, d’Vine Wine, A Closer Bond Dog Community, Spunky Dunkers, Arete Salon & Spa, ebrWOW, Pan American Bank, Just Peachy Photography, State Farm, Morkes Chocolates, Brush Salon and Sweet C’s Bakery.
